No injuries were reported after a Thursday afternoon accident involving a car and Celina City Schools bus No. 15 at the intersection of Riley and Howick roads in Celina. Bus driver Wayne Fisher, 72, Celina, had stopped while driving on Howick Road and then pulled into the path of a vehicle operated by David Erskine, 76, Celina, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's Office report. Fisher was reportedly cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. Erskine, his passenger, Travis Hole, 47, of Celina, and Fisher were reportedly all wearing seatbelts. Neither alcohol nor drugs were reportedly determined to be factors in the accident. Schools superintendent Ken Schmiesing said middle and high school students were on the bus when the collision occurred about 2:45 p.m.
