* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, New Knoxville, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 108 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Shannon Zitter
Shannon Lee Zitter, age 46 of Fort Recovery, Ohio passed away September 7, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Born October 12, 1971 in Portland, Indiana she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Pat Zitter. On December 16, 2006 she married Jerry Hill in Fort Recovery and he survives her in Marysville, Ohio.
She is survived by her two beloved children, Victoria Ann and Preston Michael. She is also survived by her parents and her brothers and sisters, Tom Zitter, Jr. of Sidney, Ohio; Ann Staugler (Tom) of Sharpsburg; Ed Robinson (Elizabeth) of Doylstown, Pa., Mary Pat (Tim) Echemann of Piqua, and Cynthia Zitter, Hollywood, CA. Her aunts and uncles - Joyce and George Szmaj of Bloomington, Ill, Donald (Abby) Robinson of Worthington, Ohio, Captain Gerard and Elizabeth Robinson of Bar Harbor, Maine, John and Kathy Zitter of Huntington, West Virginia, and Dr. William and Mary Lind Zitter of Huntington, West Virginia. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews Tom Staugler, Jared Staugler, Chase Staugler, Conrad Echemann, Lila Echemann, Lane Robinson. Cousins Stephen, Khanh and Kadin Owens; Linda Owens; Lara, Doug, Aidan and Regan Heberle; Greta (Laurent) Kadia Szmaj; Liza, Franck, Farrah, Jude and Abby Guellerin; Drew and Neal Robinson.
She was a 1990 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design from Ohio University in 1994. She was formerly employed by Lucent Technology as an IT specialist.
Shannon's passion was her family and she loved being a true "soccer mom" spending hours helping her children be involved in academic and sports events. Her forte was planning family events especially family trips to her uncle Larry's in the Outer Banks. She was involved in community and especially enjoyed helping at political events. She loved people and would help anyone who needed her help. Shannon's quick wit and humor brought joy to many.
An open house celebration of Shannon's life for family and friends will be held at Romer's West Lake Lodge, 1100 South Main, Celina, Ohio on Sunday September 9, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
