* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon EST today. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Republican headquarters opens

Mercer County Republican Party officials celebrate the grand opening on Thursday of the party headquarters for the upcoming election. The special guest was Susan Manchester, R-Waynesfield, who is seeking the state 84th House District seat. The headquarters is located in The Plaza at 922 N. Main St., Celina. Yard signs and literature will be available at the headquarters. Attending are, from left, Mercer County Republican Party Chairman Matt Gilmore, Mercer County Assistant Prosecutor Amy Ikerd, Manchester, Mercer County Prosecutor Matt Fox and Mercer County Republican Party Vice Chairman Rick Delzeith.
