Marilyn Rable
Marilyn F. Rable, 86, of Celina, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday November 11, 2018 at The Gardens of Celina.
She was born April 20, 1932 in Celina, Ohio to George and Anna (Fullenkamp) Pleiman who preceded her in death.
She was raised by Christine Fullenkamp as her mother died when she was 7. On June 2, 1962 at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, she married Thomas J Rable. Her loving husband preceded her in death on December 21, 2013.
Surviving are two children Tom (Kristi) Rable of Celina and Mary (Ted) Loose of Springboro. She has eleven grandchildren; Matt, Miranda, Mariah and Marcus Rable, Kathy, Lucas, Sam, Joe and Steve Warner and Sara and Kristi Loose. Other survivors include her sister; Viola Luthman of Coldwater and her sister-in-law; Rose Pleiman of St Clair Shores, Michigan as well has many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings; Levaun Pleiman, Bernard Pleiman, George Pleiman and Betty Rosengarten.
Marilyn was a 1950 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School. She retired as personnel secretary at Reynolds and Reynolds to raise her family. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception parish in Celina. She volunteered as a CCD instructor and distributed Communion to hospital and extended care facility patients. In her later years, she made over 4000 rosaries for the missions. She was also a long time member of the former Maria Stein Retreat League and the Legion of Mary. Faith and family were the foundation of her life. She was an ardent supporter and contributor to EWTN Catholic Global network and the Right to Life movement.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made for Masses or to the Immaculate Conception Parish Endowment fund.
