Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.
CELINA - School board members on Monday approved developing a pilot program for a nondenominational religious instruction class for high school students.
More than 20 people attended Monday's school board meeting to support the program. Celina First Church of God Teaching Pastor Craig Flack said high school students would need parental approval to leave school to attend the offsite Bible education program during the school day. [More]
