Coldwater Assistant Fire Chief Tom Gross and other fire department personnel spread sand to absorb fluids at the scene of a Thursday afternoon accident at State Route 29 and Burkettsville-St. Henry Road in Jefferson Township. Fluids had leaked from a semitrailer involved in the accident. One person was transported to a hospital, according to emergency personnel. Further details were unavailable at press time.
