Tony Sherrill
Tony P. 'Arch' Sherrill, age 62, of Celina passed away at Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home.
He was born February 25, 1957 in Crossville, TN to the late Archie F. Sherrill and his mother Wilma R. (Kerley) Sherrill survives. On August 22, 1981, he married Judy (Roll) and she also survives.
He is survived by his siblings and in-laws, Francis Conkel, Alvin Sherrill, Calvin & Margie Sherrill, Jimmy & Marcie Sherrill, June Sherrill, William & Marcy Roll, Richard & Millie Roll, Thomas & Kris Roll, and Michael & Addie Roll.
He is preceded in death by a brother Thomas Sherrill and a brother-in-law Fred Conkel.
Arch was a member of the Celina V.F.W. and Moose Lodge, and a very proud member of the Possum Lodge. He was a high school dropout who later received a master's degree in education from Wright State University and taught at Celina Intermediate School for 22 years. Arch loved the outdoors, shooting and breaking glass. He was a DJ and loved Rock & Roll music; he also loved dogs, making people laugh and his 68 Camaro.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater with Rev. Bruce Swonger, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Wednesday March 13 and after 9:00 am on Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to the Tony Sherrill Scholarship fund or Celina Intermediate Relay for Life.
