An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Pauline Stein
Pauline Stein, age 86 of Mendon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born on September 18, 1932 in Celina, Ohio to the late Stanley and Farol (Hamilton) Springer. On March 31, 1951, she married Paul Stein, who survives living in Mendon.
Also surviving are her children Roger (Norma) Stein of Celina, Tim Stein of Celina, David (Annette) Stein of Troy, Kevin (Sharon) Stein of Ridgeville, Chris (Tammy) of St. Marys, Susan (Dan) Nuding of Mendon, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, her brother and sisters-in-law Donnie (Dorothy) Springer of New Smyrna Beach, Fl, Peggy Springer of Grabill, IN and her sister Glenda Colby of Richmond, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents a daughter Peggy Sue Stein, one grandchild Jeffery Paul Stein and her brother Richard Springer.
She graduated from Celina High School in 1950. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina. She was a housewife and was formerly employed at the Celina Music Store, secretary at the Crampton Canning Plant in Celina and the secretary for the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina for twelve years. She enjoyed square dancing, camping and taught crocheting at the Church making lap robes, baptismal blankets and prayer crosses.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza and Vicar Dan Gutman officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday at the St. John Lutheran Church.
