Service held to lift up those hurt by flooding

MARIA STEIN - Dozens of people gathered to pray for those affected by recent flooding during a community prayer service at the Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics on Thursday evening.
Matt Hess, coordinator of ministry and hospitality, said the service was put together in about 72 hours. Hess felt a sense of urgency to acknowledge the recent flooding, and the community prayer service was the response. [More]

It turns out he can hurdle as well.  
The Fort Recovery senior defended his 100- and 200-meter dash titles, ran the winning leg in the 4x100 relay and also took first in the 300 hurdles at the Mercer County Knights of Columbus Meet on Thursday. [More]
