At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Janice Drees
Janice L. Drees, age 80, of Ft. Loramie, died on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Wilson Hospital in Sidney.
She was born January 13, 1939 in Minster to the late Edward & Hilda (Drees) Placke. She married Louis Drees on June 18, 1960, and he survives in Ft. Loramie.
She is also survived by her children, Deborah & Mark Westerheide, Ronald & Judy Drees, Craig & Cherie Drees and Dave & Peggy Drees all of Ft. Loramie; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Norma Webster of New Bremen, Bonnie & Herb Limbert of Wapakoneta, Ray & Carol Drees of Ft. Loramie, Vernon Drees of Ft. Loramie, Fred Drees of Russia and Lois Drees of Vandalia.
She is preceded in death by a sister and in-laws, Joan & Bill Silvers, Edmund Webster, Bill Drees, Norma & Tom Gaier, Ruth Drees and Eileen Drees.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, Minster Eagles, Hickory Nut Gang, and was in the same card club since 1958. Janice worked as a child care giver, enjoyed camping, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at St. Michael Church with Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, May 7, and from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
