...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON... The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of East Central Indiana and Ohio, including the following areas, in East Central Indiana, Fayette IN, Union IN, and Wayne. In Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Delaware, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Preble, Shelby, and Union OH. * Through Tuesday afternoon * With the ground already saturated, additional rounds of showers and embedded thunderstorms tonight through Tuesday could result in new instances of flash flooding. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches will be possible in the heaviest and most persistent storm activity. This may result in flash flooding with lighter rainfall amounts than would otherwise be expected.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Flood Advisory for... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio... Northern Logan County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Hardin County in west central Ohio... * Until 600 AM EDT. * At 1255 AM EDT, radar indicated an area of nearly stationary heavy rain from Botkins to Kenton. Localized rainfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour will cause flooding. * Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks, streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding. Some locations that will experience minor flooding include... Wapakoneta, Kenton, Anna, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, Botkins, Lakeview, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center, Chippewa Park, Blanchard, Roundhead, Mount Victory, Mcguffey, Ridgeway, Uniopolis, Kettlersville and Patterson.
