Thomas Pleiman
Thomas Herbert Pleiman passed from this life in Scottsdale AZ, on June 30, 2019, at the age of 82 years.
He was born at home in Mercer County OH on October 27, 1936, to John and Theresa (nee Stahl) Pleiman. He married Marlyn Marie Beeching on June 10, 1961, and remained a faithful and devoted husband until his death.
He retired after 35 years from Bridgestone/Firestone do Brasil as vice president of manufacturing and engineering. Tom was dedicated to his work and his family, respected by all for his generosity and integrity. He loved cooking, sports, and was an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers Vera Stelzer (Florian), Art Pleiman (Salome), Lucille Fleck (Rich), Annie Post (Ralph), Ernest Pleiman, Alice Homan (Leonard), Margie Dirksen (Paul), sister in law Betty Pleiman.
He is survived by wife, son Thomas Joseph Pleiman (Kim), daughter Theresa Marie Reed (Jamie), grandchildren Cole Pleiman, Gavin and Jackson Reed, brother Robert Pleiman, sisters in law Emma Pleiman, Jana Thompson (Dave), brothers in law Donald Beeching (Dottie), Robert (Robin Currie), numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Masses for Tom Pleiman will be held on July 13, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Casa, Scottsdale AZ and on August 24, 2019, at 10:00 am St. Mary Catholic Church in Philothea, OH, with receptions following.
