Delbert Clune
Delbert F. Clune age 86 of Muncie, IN formerly of St. Rose passed away at 10:20 PM on Tuesday, July 31, 2019 at Ball Hospital, Muncie, IN.
He was born May 10, 1933 in St. Rose, Ohio to the late Clarence & Ida (Heitkamp) Clune. He married Charl Morley on August 8, 1974. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2014.
He is also survived by step-children: David Strout, Douglas Strout, both of Muncie & Paul & Deanie Strout, Selma, IN, grandchildren: Bradley & Heath Strout, Brian Strout & Samantha Strout, brother & sisters: Evelyn & Ralph Koesters, Coldwater, Jerry & Pat Clune, St. Rose, Janice & Dick Forthofer, Portland, IN, Marlene & Richard Carlile, Dayton, sister-in-law Darlene Clune, Indianapolis, IN.
He was preceded in death by brothers Eugene & Kenneth.
Delbert was a graduate of St. John High School, Maria Stein and a veteran of the 11th Air Borne Division of the US Army.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday August 5, 2019 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Brenberger celebrant. Burial follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, August 4.
