Jacob E. McDermitt, 1 hour, of St. Marys, OH died 12:03 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2019, at Joint Twp. District Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 15, 2019, in St. Marys, OH to Nathan and Brittany (Swanzy) McDermitt, who survive in rural St. Marys.
He is also survived by: sister Ariel McDermitt of St. Marys, OH; paternal grandparents Robert and Linda McDermitt of St. Marys, OH; maternal grandparents Mark and Donna Swanzy of Wapella, IL; uncle Cody (Magan) Swanzy of Charleston, SC; aunt Nicole (Keith) Perin of St. Marys, OH; aunt Melissa (Rodney) Kiefer of St. Marys, OH; uncle Craig (Brenda) McDermitt of St. Marys, OH; uncle Michael (Kathie) McDermitt of New Bremen, OH; uncle John (Sally) McDermitt of Celina, OH.
Preceded in death by an aunt, Deanna Slone.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday September 20, 2019 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Bev Hurlburt, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation one hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.
