Linda Broyles
Linda Lou Broyles, 77, of rural Mendon, OH died Saturday November 16, 2019 at Leesburg Medical Center in Leesburg, FL.
She was born on November 28, 1941 in Celina, OH to Robert Howard and Edna (Brown) Carpenter. On March 7, 1986 in Las Vegas, NV she married Thomas Broyles, who died January 14, 2014.
Survivors include: son Mark (Beth) Nolan of Mendon, OH; Daughter Stephanie Nolan-Heimann of Findlay, OH; Daughter Lori Nave of Celina, OH; Son Trey McKinney of St. Marys, OH; Step-son Rick Broyles of St. Marys, OH; Step-son Greg (Tina) Broyles of St. Marys, OH; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; Sister Lana Sutter of Mendon, OH; Sister Donna Wagner of Mendon, OH; Brother Robert (Betty) Carpenter of Mendon, OH.
She was a graduate of Mendon-Union High School (Class of 1959). She was a pharmacy technician. Along with her husband, Tom, they operated Hawkey's Pharmacy in Ottawa, OH for a number of years.
She attended the Mendon United Methodist Church, and had been a member of the I.O.O.F. Rebekah Lodge and the Women's National Farm & Garden Assoc.
Her favorite pastimes included listening to music, gardening, playing cards, dancing and reading. More than anything she enjoyed people and living life to the fullest.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon Saturday November 30, 2019 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. The Rev. Rob Glenn will officiate the services.
Visitation 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
