* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Jonathan Gehret
Jonathan Louis Gehret, age 18, Versailles, passed away suddenly following a recreational accident in Brown Township, Ansonia, Ohio, on Tuesday evening, December 17, 2019.
He was born October 31, 2001, in Troy, Ohio, to Brian and Cheryl (Otte) Gehret who survive at home.
Also surviving are two brothers, Benjamin and Nicholas Gehret; his girl-friend, Grace McEldowney of Versailles; grandparents, Joe & Judy Otte of North Star and Cyril & Margie (dec.) Gehret of Yorkshire; uncles & aunts: Curt & Kelly Otte of Cassella, Linda Otte of North Star, Jason Otte (dec. infant), Lisa & Brian Rosenbeck of Yorkshire, Krista & Justin Guggenbiller of Coldwater, Doug & Jill Otte of Minster, Janet & Doug Steinbrunner of Versailles, Karen & Steve Mangen of Yorkshire, Kevin & Angie Gehret of Fort Loramie, Joyce & Tom Peterson of St. Marys and Brenda & Ben Mescher of Allen, MI as well as numerous great uncles & aunts, cousins and friends.
Mr. Gehret was a senior at Versailles High School. He had also been employed part time at AL Smith Trucking Inc. and Ben Schmitmeyer's dairy farm. Jonathan was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.
He had been active in FFA and enjoyed showing Poultry at the Darke County Fair. Jonathan was also an avid outdoorsman, he loved dirt bike riding, hunting, fishing and most recently, kayaking.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, December 23, 2019, at St. Denis Church in Versailles with Rev. James Simons presiding. Interment will follow at St. Valbert Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to charities of donor's choice.
