* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Mercer County records 10 fatalities; Auglaize, five

A spike in fatal crashes in Mercer County led to an increase in traffic deaths in the two-county Grand Lake area in 2019.
Ten people died in nine traffic accidents in Mercer County in 2019, a significant increase from 2018, when the county had just two fatal crashes. Auglaize County had five fatal traffic accidents in 2019 that killed five people, down from seven fatal crashes in 2018. [More]

Coldwater freshman Keaton Bruns became the third.
Bruns rolled a perfect game in Coldwater's 2,984-2,737 win over Celina at Pla-Mor Lanes in Coldwater. He joined Ottawa-Glandorf's Trent Haughn (2008-2009) and Shawnee's Austin Fought (2015-2016) in the 300 club as the third bowler to achieve the feat in the conference's 21-year history. [More]

CELINA - Mercer County commissioners on Thursday afternoon set a 2020 county budget that reflects escalating expenses.
