Work is underway on the utilities extension to the new Cooper Farms facility near Fort Recovery. Shinn Bros. Inc. has received a $267,000 contract to extend water and sewer utilities roughly 1,800 feet to the proposed biosecurity expansion. Cooper Farms at the beginning of 2019 purchased a little more than 26 acres near J&M Manufacturing upon which to relocate its biosecurity facilities, including the turkey service building showers and trailer wash bays. Cooper also plans to build a fueling station at the site.
