Donald C. "Donnie" Springer Jr., age 54, of Celina, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

He was born April 15, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, to Donald C. & Barbara A. (Guzowski) Springer, who both preceded him in death.

Surviving are two sisters and a brother: Karen M. Springer of Columbus, Michael E. Springer of Kerrville, TX, and Kelly A. Springer of Celina, a niece & nephew: Brittany Springer and Nolan McRavin, and a great niece & nephew: Lonnie and Victoria Stidham.

A 1983 graduate of Celina High School, Donnie served with the United States Marine Corps from 1984-1988. He had most recently been employed at NK Parts Industries in Sidney.

Donnie was a member of Celina VFW Post #5713, and enjoyed spending time at the Post. He liked working on crossword puzzles in the newspaper.

Calling Hours will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Friday, February 28, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service, starting at 11:30. Fr. Ken Schnipke, C.PP.S., will preside.
