Woman who drove into lake charged

By Sydney Albert
CELINA - A Celina woman is being charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without reasonable control and persistent disorderly conduct after driving her vehicle into Grand Lake on Saturday.
Nicole Coburn, 29, reportedly was driving on Edgewater Drive when she lost control of her vehicle and drove it into the lake around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, according to an Ohio Department of Natural Resources news release.
ODNR officials reportedly responded to the scene with Montezuma Fire and Emergency Medical Services and the Mercer County Sheriff's Office. Coburn was transported from the scene to the hospital, according to the statement.
In one case in Celina Municipal Court, Coburn is being charged with OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor, and operating without reasonable control, a minor misdemeanor. In a second case, she is being charged with persistent disorderly conduct. Coburn has entered a not guilty plea in both cases.
