Rosemary Hagar
Rosemary Lu "Rosie" Hagar, age 84, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born on July 14, 1935 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the late Robert Wayne and Mary Keitha (Maurice) LeValley. On August 28, 1955 she married the love of her life, Russell D. Hagar, whom is surviving, living in Celina.
Rosemary is also survived by two children Robyn (Mark) Armstrong of Celina, Tim Hagar of Celina, six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She has also left behind beloved friends and neighbors.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers John Wayne LeValley and Robert Keith LeValley.
She is an Alumni of Bellefontaine High School and Alumni of Middleburg High School. In 1956 she proudly graduated from the White Cross Hospital School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. She retired as a Registered Nurse after 59 years of service, most recently with Mercer Health in Coldwater and Dr. M.R. Satya.
Rosemary was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church, the Celina American Legion Post #210 Auxiliary, Alumni of White Cross, a member of the Riverside Methodist Nursing Unit and was the current President of the United Methodist Women at Grand Lake UMC.
Due to the national health concerns, the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home and the Hagar Family are following directives outlined by the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, limiting attendance to the visitation and funeral service to immediate family members only.
Private graveside services will be held in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Mick Whistler officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. A memorial service and a celebration of Rosemary's life will be held at the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina at a later date.
