Terrence Timmerman
Terrence Lee Timmerman, age 68, of Oviedo, FL and formerly of Fort Recovery, OH passed away on June 8, 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by family.
He was born January 18, 1952, in Celina, OH to the late Thomas and Cecilia (Suhy) Timmerman.
Survived by his wife Maria Eliane Pinto Timmerman, and his three children Michelle (Ismael) Timmerman-Shah, Christina (Jeremiah) Timmerman-Conn, and Alex Timmerman, all of Oviedo, FL. Siblings, Ben Timmerman of Honolulu, HI, James (Susann) Timmerman of Edmonds, WA, Bev (Dave) Raths of Tullahoma, TN, Julie Montgomery of Dale City, VA, Eileen (Thomas) Sass of Copley, OH, Jerry (Jenny) Timmerman of Florence, KY, Phil Timmerman of Kirkland, WA, Phyllis (Dave) Sutter of St. Henry, OH and Peter (Jean) Timmerman of Lincoln, NE; and 3 grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death are siblings, Jack Timmerman, Judy Timmerman, Jane Breitenstein, and Ted Timmerman.
He was a 1970 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, and attended Bowling Green State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's in Business Administration. He then proceeded to join the Peace Corps, and was assigned to Aurora, CE in Brazil, where he met the love of his life Maria Eliane.
Lee was deeply dedicated to his wife, family, and work. Although he lived in the US, his love for Brazil and his extended family there never diminished. He made sure that his wife and kids could always go to Brazil to spend time with family.
When he wasn't hard at work on an Excel spreadsheet, he was having fun with his wife and kids. His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, where he always cooked the best turkey, watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and never missed the Cowboys play. Lee had a great sense of humor and a playful spirit. He often enjoyed playing cards and telling jokes with Jack/Eliane Thompson, who are intimate friends. Lee was a man of optimism, who always saw the glass half full.
Funeral arrangements were Thursday June 11th, 2020 at St. Stephens Catholic Church.
