Carol Humbarger
Carol J. Humbarger, age 80, of Celina, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
Born on April 24, 1940, in Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Dale Headley and Opal Kirchgassner. For 45 years, Carol was married to Charles Humbarger, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her 3 children: Pete Headley and Mary Platt, both of Churubusco, IN and Andrew Bickel of Lima, OH; 3 grandchildren: Seth Taylor, Elizabeth Headley and Drewster Bickel; 4 great-grandchildren and 4 brothers &sisters: Don (Brenda) Headley of Montpelier, OH, Duane (Shar) Kirchgassner of Churubusco and Shirley Miller andKay Avany, both of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kirchgassner.
Carol was a homemaker, and had worked at Huffy Bicycles for several years. She had attended the Salvation Army Church, and liked reading and doing word search puzzles. In her younger years, Carol enjoyed fishing.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In Carol's memory, donations may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
