* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:40 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 13.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

CELINA - Mercer County Fair officials went into high gear to come up with an entertaining and satisfying fair schedule after a last-minute curveball from the state forced them to ax big-name concerts and traditional fair staples.
Gov. Mike DeWine late last month announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic county fairs will be reduced to junior fairs featuring livestock competitions for children and teens, without the usual rides, games and grandstand events. [More]

  Last Friday, statewide football coaches and conferences heard about a proposed change to the 2020 schedule involving trimming the regular season down to six games with all teams eligible for the playoffs.
