Mercer County Sheriff's and Southwest Mercer Fire Department personnel respond to a fatal two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wabash and Siegrist-Jutte roads on Thursday afternoon.

RECOVERY TOWNSHIP - A Coldwater man died in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wabash and Siegrist-Jutte roads on Thursday afternoon.
A neighbor reportedly heard the crash and called first responders at about 4:16 p.m., according to a Mercer County Sheriff's news release.
An initial investigation by deputies found that Dennis R. Broeker, 58, Coldwater, had been traveling eastbound on Wabash Road and stopped at the stop sign at Siegrist-Jutte Road. Broeker then reportedly drove into the intersection and into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Keeshia M. Brown, 23. No hometown was listed for Brown.
The collision caused Broeker's white Chevrolet Equinox to flip onto its roof and come to a rest on the southeast side of the intersection. Brown's vehicle veered into a soybean field, also stopping to the southeast of the intersection.
Both Broeker and Brown were transported by emergency medical squad to Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Broeker was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the release.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Coldwater and Celina EMS, and Southwest Mercer Fire Department personnel.
The crash reportedly re-
mains under investigation. It is the fourth fatal traffic accident in the county this year.
