Esther Stahl
Esther C. Stahl, age 84, of Celina, died on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Gardens of Celina.
She was born October 19, 1935 in St. Rosa to the late Lawrence & Clara (Knapke) Hartings. On June 30, 1956, she married Donald A. Stahl, and he died June 18, 2019.
Esther is survived by children, Teresa Wilcox of Huntington, Indiana, Dale (Karen) Stahl of Celina and Karen (Scott) Wolters-Berding of Centerville; grandchildren, Kristen (Andy) Meadows, Nicholas (Crystle) Wilcox, Katie (Mark) Thobe, Kelly Stahl, Caleb Wolters (Jenna Dipaolo) and Madi Wolters; great grandchildren, Allison, Samantha & Carson Meadows, Harlin & Dahlia Wilcox; and in-laws, Esther Davis, Louis Stahl, Lucille Stahl and Sally Stahl all of St. Henry.
She is preceded in death by in-laws, Clarence Stahl, Herbert & Agnes Stahl, Helen Stahl, Rita & Bim Borgert, Bud Stahl, Doc & Margaret Stahl, Julia Stahl and Bud Davis.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, the ladies sodality of the church. She worked at the former New Idea and retired from Setex.
Esther enjoyed spending time with family and friends, boating, and playing cards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater livestream will be at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
The State of Ohio requires that masks be worn during the services, and seating will be limited due to social distancing practices.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Care or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
