* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Virginia Schaefer
Virginia A. "Ginny" Schaefer, age 80, of St. Anthony, OH, died October 28, 2020 at Mercer Health, Coldwater.
She was born December 17, 1939, in Burkettsville, to the late Henry and Agnes (Reier) Siefring. On April 4, 1959, she married Robert "Bob" Schaefer, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Kevin (Judy) Schaefer of St. Anthony, Steven (Kristi) Schaefer of Rockford, Renee (Ron) Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, and Lynn (Fred) Sowar of Cincinnati; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Mildred Mendenhall of Coldwater, Eulalia Zumberger of Anna, and Jeanette (Paul) Lennartz of St. Marys; and in-law, Luke (Dottie) Schaefer of Oklahoma City, OK.
Also preceding her in death are her siblings, Alfreda (Ralph) Rose, Aloys (Hilda) Siefring, Cyril (Romilda) Siefring, Herbert (Irene) Siefring, Lucille (Leon) Kramer, Florentine Siefring, Esther (Victor) Wuebker, Mary (Hubert) Liette, and Elmer (Rita) Siefring; and brothers-in-law, Ron Mendenhall, John Zumberger, and Walter Evers.
Ginny was a 1957 graduate of St. Henry High School. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, OH and its Ladies Sodality.
She enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing cards, baking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She especially treasured her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, November 2, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Fr. Richard Walling as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
While the family would love to receive relatives and friends, due to COVID precautions, a private family visitation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
