An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Lucille Jansen
Lucille Rose Jansen of Coldwater, Ohio was born November 9, 1927 to Ben & Catherine Dues in Coldwater. She went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2020. On November 11, 1950 she married Dennis Jansen at Philothea Church. She was a beloved mother to Jane Smith, Ken (Bev) Jansen, Diane (Rod) Ford, Dave Jansen, 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Lucille had such a servants heart, always serving anyone around her. Many know her for her kind and warm personality.
She was preceded in death by husband Dennis Jansen, parents Ben and Catherine Dues; in-laws, John & Margaret Jansen; daughter-in-law Joyce Jansen; sons-in-law, Jeff Smith and Steve Miller and granddaughter Kimberly. Siblings, Evelyn (Clete) Woeste, Walter (Helen) Dues, Gene (Rita) Dues, Mary (Bill) Wellman, and Melvin Dues. Surviving in-laws, Betty (Gene) East, Paul Jansen, John (Pat) Jansen, Margaret Stammen, and Bob Link.
In the interest of everyone's well-being, a private burial will be held for the immediate family.
