  CELINA - One new death from COVID-19 was reported in Mercer County over the weekend, raising the county's total to 31.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the county also increased by 83 over the weekend, raising the county's total to 1,924.
Auglaize County officials reported 76 new confirmed cases over the weekend, raising that county's total to 1,388. [More]

ST. MARYS - Council members approved a tentative three-year contract with the Police Sergeants' Union on Monday after a brief executive session.
The new contract includes raises and health care changes for five of the city's police sergeants.

ST. HENRY - Village council members hired three employees during Monday's meeting.
Council members approved hiring Grant Pottkotter and AJ Niekamp as public utilities operators. Pottkotter will be paid $17.50 per hour and Niekamp will be paid $16.50 per hour, mayor Steve Koesters said.
