Dennis W. "Denny" Overley, age 71, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born on July 24, 1949 on Celina to the late Willard and Margaret Lauree (Muterbaugh) Overley. On July 8, 1994 he married Janie (Roll) Overley and she survives at the residence.

Other survivors include two daughters, Katie M. (Mikel) Martinez, Lima, Ohio and Sarah L. Overley. Denny is also preceded in death by his sister, Janet E. Overley.

Denny was a 1969 graduate of Mendon Union High School. He proudly served his country in the United States in the Army, during the Vietnam War era. He retired after working in tool and die department at both Huffy Bicycle Manufacturing Company in Celina and STAMCO in New Bremen.

He was a member of Celina American Legion Post 210, Celina VFW Post #5713, Fraternal Order of Eagles Shanes Aerie 1292, Rockford, Ohio and the Celina Moose.

Most important to Denny was his family, he loved spending time with all of them and will be deeply missed by all. He also enjoyed playing cards and sitting on his front porch.

Visitation hours will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Funeral service will immediately follow visiting hours at 4:00 pm with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.

Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at the visitation and funeral.
