The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Thomas Marbaugh
Thomas E. Marbaugh, 86, of Willshire, Ohio passed away Sunday afternoon, November 29, 2020, at his residence.
He was born on September 6, 1934, in Celina, Ohio to the late Clifford Marbaugh and the late Mildred (Lehman) Marbaugh. Thomas was united in marriage to Elodee J. Nye on August 21, 1954 and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2012.
He graduated from Willshire High School in 1954. He was a former member of Willshire United Methodist Church, he was a Boy Scout leader and member of the Wren Lion's Club.
Thomas was employed at International Harvester as a production worker and retired in 1986, and served as Wren Town Marshall during the late 1960's. He loved sports especially the Buckeyes, New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Thomas is survived by a daughter, Gayla Painter of Willshire, Ohio; daughter, Annette (Ron) Schumm of Willshire, Ohio; daughter, Kelly Ross of Willshire, Ohio; son, Chris (Cecilia) Marbaugh of Bakersfield, California; brother, Bill (Barbara) Marbaugh of Xenia, Ohio; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Marbaugh of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Mary Bennett of Preble, Indiana; sister, Donna Peterson of Plainfield, Indiana; sister-in-law, Nancy Marbaugh of Willshire, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, another great-grandchild to arrive in July, one great-great-granddaughter, and faithful companion Brutus.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry & Allen Marbaugh and a son-in-law, Lewis "Boose" Painter.
Private family services will be held at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana, with Life Celebrant Molly Farthing officiating. A public graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Willshire Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Willshire Park or Willshire/Wren EMS.
