RoseAnn Miesse
RoseAnn Miesse, age 93, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on October 23, 1927 in Celina to the late Norman C. and Maude (Hone) Thomas. On March 18, 1948 she married Dan Albert Miesse, who preceded her in death on February 5, 2018.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Jan) Miesse, Celina, and Dr. Craig (Pam) Miesse, Celina; a sister, Irene (Frank) Miesse, Springfield; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Miesse, Celina; four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Miletus Miesse Jr.
RoseAnn was a 1944 graduate of Celina Senior High School; she then received her associate's degree in 1946 from International Business College of Ft. Wayne. RoseAnn worked her entire life as a self-employed farmer; she also owned and operated R & D Health, where she worked as a master herbalist.
She was a charter member of Celina Baptist Temple in Celina. RoseAnn enjoyed working on the farm, being active in her church, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all.
Due to the National Health Concerns of COVID-19 RoseAnn's funeral service will be private. Burial will take place at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
A public celebration of RoseAnn's life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Celina Baptist Temple.
Her wish was for memorial contributions to be made to Celina Baptist Temple/Missionary Fund.
Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at the visitation and funeral.
