Rita Kittle
Rita M. Kittle, age 93, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2:30 am in the Gardens of Celina.
She was born March 29, 1927 in Coldwater to the late Julius and Viola (Kessen) Froning. On June 14, 1947 she married Paul "Rich" Kittle and he preceded her in death on April 19, 1998.
Survivors include her children, Jim (Pam Sykes) Kittle, Celina, June (Tom) Kerns, Celina, Janet (Dan) Rasawuhr, Mendon, Joyce Grogg, Mendon and Julius "Stub" Kittle, Celina; a brother, Charles (Ann) Froning, Coldwater; a sister, Marie Powell, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, Bill Puthoff, Chickasaw; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Deitsch and Dorothy Ann Puthoff; two sons-in-law, Donald Grogg and John Stein; a daughter-in-law, Susan Kittle; two brothers-in-law, Don Deitsch and Glenn Powell.
Rita was a homemaker and retired from Huffy Bicycle Manufacturing Company in Celina after many years of service. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, doing yard work and spending time with her family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm in Cisco Funeral Homes, Celina.
A funeral service will follow the gathering at 2:00 pm in the funeral home, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. Burial will be at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at the visitation and funeral.
