Carol Hurm
Carol Ann Hurm, 78, of St Marys, died of COVID-19 on Monday, December 21, 2020, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born April 23, 1942, in McCartyville, Ohio the daughter of Paul and Theresa (Schlater) Huecker. She married Robert Hurm on December 27, 1969, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville; he survives in St. Marys.
She is also survived by her children: Dr. Thomas (Melissa) Hurm of Columbus; Amy (Jeff) Fry of Columbus. She is survived by her grandchildren; Brilee; Skylar and Rowyn of Columbus. She is survived by her brother, Bob (Carol) Huecker of Minster; Sister Paula Huecker, SFP, of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Madonna Roth; her brothers: Bill Huecker and Ed Huecker.
Carol's tenderhearted spirit and gentle soul will be remembered by all who had the grace to know her. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.
A private, family only Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 28, 2020, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Tony Cutcher, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
