Jeremy Sutton
Jeremy Jonathan Sutton, 36, of St. Marys, died Friday evening, Jan. 29, 2021, at his home.
He was born July 28, 1984, in St. Marys, the son of Dale & Susan (Byers) Sutton, and they survive in St. Marys.
Other survivors include brothers, Joseph (Audra) Sutton, St. Marys, Jacob (Nikki) Sutton, Wapakoneta, Matthew Sutton, Dayton, OH, Jonathan (Nancy) Sutton, St. Marys; nieces & nephews, Alexa, Elizabeth, Gavin, Kya, Callie, Lucas, Jonathan "Bubby"; grandparents, Clifford & Margaret Byers, Columbus, OH; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his four legged friend, Bucki'.
Jeremy was preceded in death by grandmother and step-grandfather, Betty (Sutton) Helmlinger & Raymond Helmlinger.
Jeremy worked as an inspection supervisor at SQS Automotive, St. Marys. He also worked with R.L. Security at CAPT, Celina. He was a member of the Aletheia Christian Church, Celina, OH.
Jeremy was a 2003 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, and received a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from the Destiny School of Ministry. He enjoyed anything outdoors, fishing, and his animals. He loved people, and he loved spreading the Word through mission trips to Peru and through composing and singing worship music. Jeremy was a blessing to everyone that he met. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, ability to make others laugh, and his commitment to serving Christ. Jeremy is now at home with the Lord.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Sat. Feb. 6, 2021, at the Aletheia Christian Church, 7216 Fleetwood Rd., Celina, OH, 45822, with Pastor Shawn Meyer officiating. Burial is to follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
The family will receive family and friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Fri. at the Eley Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, and 1 hr., prior to the service, Sat. at the church.
