Betty Jean Becker, 80, of El Paso, Texas, died Saturday, January 23, 2021, at El Paso Health and Rehab Center, El Paso.

She was born April 10, 1940, in Waynesfield, Ohio, the daughter of Lewis and Ann (Point) Dawson. She married Larry J. Becker on May 10, 1958; he survives at the residence in El Paso.

She is survived by her children: Terry Becker of Palm Beach, Florida; Sanda (Wayne) Freewalt of Saint Marys, Ohio; Geoffrey (Selina) Becker of El Paso. She is survived by her grandchildren: Jeremy (Melissa) Becker of Wapakoneta Chauncey (Josie Locurto) Becker of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is survived by a sister, Kathie (Carl) Johnson of Wapakoneta.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jean was a 1958 graduate of Spencerville, Ohio High School. She was a homemaker, and a member of the United Methodist Church Community. She enjoyed reading, and she was a good cook.

Private, family only funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, 45885. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Fairmount Road, Waynesfield, Ohio.
