R. Darrell Kinney
R. Darrell Kinney, 81, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at his residence.
He was born in Connersville, IN, on March 17, 1939, the son of the late Darrell Leon Kinney and Elma (Levi) Firestone.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the VFW Post 5713 in Celina. He was also a member of the Eagles Aerie 2653 of Decatur. Darrell worked as a telephone contractor for over 30 years.
Darrell is survived by 3 daughters, Tanya A. (Mike Young) Kinney of Mendon, OH, Teresa J. (Steve) Brotherwood of St. Marys, OH, Kellie J. (Dan) Hawbaker of Decatur; 2 sons, Mark A. (Renee) Kinney of Mendon, OH, Chris B. Kinney of Celina, OH; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Kinney.
There will be NO funeral or visitation and a Celebration of Darrell's Life will take place at the Eagles Lodge, at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
