* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alice Sheaks
Alice A. Sheaks, 90, of St. Marys, OH died unexpectedly Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her residence.
She was born January 4, 1931 in Auglaize Co. near Buckland, OH to Virgil and Mildred (Burden) Hager. On May 30, 1964 she married Robert Sheaks, who died July 12, 1995.
She is survived by a brother Roger Hager of Wapakoneta, OH and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: parents Virgil and Mildred Hager; husband Robert Sheaks; brother Donald "Lewis" Hager; sister Carolyn Davidson.
She was a graduate of the Buckland, OH High School (Class of 1948) and Defiance College. An educator, she worked as a third grade teacher in the St. Marys City Schools for 36 years.
She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church and the Auglaize Co. Retired Teachers' Association.
Alice will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman with a passion for helping others. She was especially close to her nephew David Davidson, whom she "took under her wing" following the untimely death of his mother. Determined and independent, she maintained her own home until the time of her passing, and was often seen taking long walks in her neighborhood.
Private family services will be held. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
A public memorial service and celebration of her life will be scheduled in the near future.
