Donald May
Donald L. May, age 85 of Coldwater, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born December 1, 1935 in St. Anthony to the late Charles & Mary (Buschur) May. On June 13, 1959, he married Dolores F. (Broeker) in St. Anthony, and she died November 11, 2014.
He is survived by five children, Sandra Grimm of Franklin, Charles (Carol) May of St. Henry, Patrick (Kathy) May of Coldwater, Pamela (Gerard) Dorsten of Celina and Carl (Kathy) May of Coldwater; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Kenneth (Karen) May of Ft. Wayne, William (Beth) May of St. Marys, Robert (Nancy) May of Celina, Ray (Donna) May of Celina, Marty (Mike) Krieg of Coldwater, Shirley May of Coldwater, Patricia Broeker of Coldwater, Mary Jo Broeker of Coldwater, Mary Ann (Cyril) Droesch of St. Henry and Leroy (Carolyn) Broeker of Coldwater.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa May; a grandchild, Brian May; great-grandchild, Kalip Grimm; siblings and in-laws, Alvin May, Dorothy & Vic Billerman, Virginia May, James Broeker and Ralph Broeker.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and the Coldwater Eagles. He worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
  A Funeral Mass following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater with live stream at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
