Personal injury accident

At least one person was injured in this single-vehicle accident reported shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday on State Route 29 near Godfrey and Burrville roads, according to Mercer County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Gery Thobe. The vehicle came to rest in the Wabash River. The driver exited the vehicle after the crash and the accident is under investigation, according to a deputy at the scene.
