Charlene Gayle Smith "Charlie," 65, formerly of Tehachapi, California, and recently of Mendon, died June 20, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jake Boroff officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery.

Calling is noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to a society that supports animal rescue.
