* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Snow showers associated with an arctic front are moving through this morning, providing a quick accumulation of snowfall. With wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph, the snow showers combined with blowing snow are reducing visibility and creating challenging travel conditions. These conditions are most impactful on roads that are more rural and are aligned from north to south. Even after the snow ends, elevated winds will continue to blow snow into the early afternoon.
Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Vicki Phillips
Vicki Jo Phillips age 68, of Greenville passed away at 9:40 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton from an illness. Vicki was born March 6, 1953, in Mercer County to the late Barbara Ann (Jenkins) Fischer and Orville Dean Carey. In addition to her parents, Vicki was also preceded in death by her fiancé, Michael Buschur.
Vicki is survived by her son, Brian & Chane Phillips of Greenville and their children, Kyle Phillips and Haven Phillips, and son, T.J. & Nikki Phillips of Greenville and their children, Anson Phillips and Kasen Phillips; siblings, Rick & Dianne Carey of Woodbridge, Virginia, Tina & Ron Smith of Celina, Tim & Linda Carey of Celina and Julie McDonald & Bob Dranginis of Waterford, Michigan; her fiancé's parents, Larry & Sandy Buschur of Greenville; her fiancé's sister, Deb & Todd Hart of York, South Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vicki graduated from Celina High School in 1971. She formerly worked at the Colony Restaurant in Greenville. Vicki retired in 2020 from Beauty Supply Group in Greenville. Vicki enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid bird watcher.
There will be no services per Vicki's wish. Memorial contributions may be made in Vicki's memory to EverHeart Hospice 1350 N.
