* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1218 AM EDT, radar indicated scattered thunderstorms developing which contain moderate to heavy rainfall. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area over the next hour or two. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... City plans to resurface 10 miles

CELINA - City officials plan to resurface nearly 10 miles of city streets in 2022 at an estimated cost of $2.95 million. If the plan is carried out in full, it would amount to nearly three times the miles of streets resurfaced this summer.
City councilors at their regular meeting this week gave first reading of a resolution authorizing city safety service director Tom Hitchcock to advertise, receive bids and enter into an agreement for the project. [More]
Celina man lauded for his help with an arrest

CELINA - A Celina man has been commended by the Celina Police Department for his help in stopping a suspect from escaping police on Wednesday.
Brian Moeller assisted patrolman A.J. Poppe early Wednesday morning when Skyler Lawrence, 26, Portland, Ind., resisted arrest and attempted to escape after an attempted traffic stop, according to a news release from Celina Police Chief Tom Wale. [More]
