CELINA - Grand Lake United Methodist Church staff member Tolin can often be found strolling around the children's hall on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.

Coldwater wins first district title since 2017

OTTOVILLE - After losing to Ottoville 2-1 in the regular season finale, Coldwater was looking to settle the score in the Division III district girls soccer semifinal on the Big Green's home turf on Saturday afternoon.
The Cavaliers came out on the attack on the first whistle and didn't let up until the final whistle in defeating Ottoville 3-1 to capture the program's second district title and first since 2017. [More]

Area cross country runners looked for the chance to reach this week's state meet as they competed Saturday at regional meet held at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin.
ST. HENRY - Owen Lefeld rushed for 160 yards and scored five touchdowns to power St. Henry to a 42-9 victory over Ansonia in the opening round of the Division VII playoffs Friday night at the Wally Post Athletic Complex.
NEW BREMEN - It took New Bremen two snaps to get on the scoreboard, and from there the Cardinals were off to the races.
Lockland proved no match for the defending Division VII state champion, as New Bremen romped to a 51-0 tournament-opening win at Cardinal Stadium on Saturday night.
