Some workers to get 'significant' raises

CELINA - Many Mercer County government employees will see considerable pay raises after the first major overhaul of the county compensation plan since 1997.
Looking to assess market realities and stay competitive, county commissioners had law firm Fishel, Downey, Albrecht, Riepenhoff, LLP administer an analysis of more than 100 positions in the county. ELIDA - Coming off an emotional week, the New Knoxville volleyball team rose to the occasion on Thursday.
The Rangers blew the doors off overwhelmed and sloppy Leipsic in the Division IV regional semifinal at the Elida Fieldhouse, edging the Vikings 25-19 in the first set before decisive 25-11 and 25-12 wins to advance to the regional final against Tiffin Calvert on Saturday.
