Ronald Clements
Ronald (Ron) Francis Clements, age 80, died February 1, 2022, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater Ohio.
He was born on October 15, 1941, to the late Robert and Margaret (Wogenstahl) Clements in Cincinnati OH. On June 1, 1963, he married Mary Muhlenkamp at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina OH.
He was a devoted husband and father. Ron enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and playing bingo. He, especially, enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, Ron enjoyed talking to neighbors and community members.
He is survived by his wife Mary Clements; children Sheila (Ken) Tuente of Osgood OH, Bob (Wendy) Clements of Reynoldsburg OH, and Diane (Dale) Schwieterman of Liberty Township OH; siblings James Clements of St. Marys OH and Vickie Haynes of Celina OH; in-laws Bertie Muhlenkamp of Celina OH, Helen Androne of Greenville OH, Linda (Basil) Mangen of Versailles OH, Ervin Mangen of Rossburg OH, Delores Muhlenkamp (Jack Coblentz) of Union City OH, Joan Cole (Stanley DeSoto) of Lima OH, Roger (Linda) Muhlenkamp of Portland IN, Larry (Kathy) Muhlenkamp of Russia OH, Sharon (John) Echeman of Bradford OH, Deb (Mark) Price of Union City OH, and Lisa (Ron) Miller of Ft Loramie OH; eight grandchildren Anthony (Ashley), Justin (Jasmine), Phillip (Kylie), Heather (Ob), Trevor, Morgan, Trey, and Paige; six great-grandchildren Aleea (step), Abraham (step), August, Jayce, Bentley, and Laken.
Deceased are siblings Wanda (Ron) Wahoff, Betty (Paul) Schuler, Jeanne (Harold) Dailey, Tommy Clements, Donnie Clements, Iona (Roy) Palmer, and Donna (Keith) Hornberger; in-laws Emma Clements, Oscar Haynes, Victor Muhlenkamp, Sam Androne, Virgil Muhlenkamp, Ronnie Muhlenkamp, and Barbara Mangen.
Ron was an Air Force veteran and a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry American Legion, Wendelin Sports Club, and Coldwater Eagles. He, also, served as treasurer for the American Legion for several years. He was a long-time employee of New Idea and Goodyear.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:30 AM at St. Henry Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St Henry Catholic Cemetery.
Friend may call Wednesday February 9, 2022, from 3:00 until 7:00 and Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 9:00 through 10:00 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry. Friends and Family are invited to join us for a luncheon at the St. Henry American Legion after the internment.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Henry American Legion or EverHeart Hospice in Ronald's name.
