Whether it was driving to the basket or knocking down the 3-pointer, Slusher was a force for the Panthers during his career.
Slusher already held the school records for 3-pointers in a game with eight and in a season with 62. His ability to drive to the basket allowed him to become a dominant figure at the foul line, shooting 84.9%, breaking his own record of 84.6% set during his sophomore season and his career 81.3% free throw rate is nearly 2% ahead of the record set by Doug Ponstler from 1973 to 1975.
Slusher was part of the Panthers' run to the regional final that was halted by COVID-19 in 2020 and was the second-leading scorer behind Dylan Hughes as a junior last season before stepping up and leading the team as a senior. Slusher reached the 1,000 career point mark late this season to become the fifth Panther to reach that milestone in the Midwest Athletic Conference-era.
