Cale Rammel
Fort Recovery
6-6 Junior Forward
17.3 PPG, 8.0 Rebounds, 2.6 Assists
Rammel's presence as an all-around player for the Indians helped the team improve from a 12-12 record in 2020-21 to 15-9 this past season.
Big enough to handle himself in the paint, Rammel also has a solid outside touch, hitting 29 3-pointers during the regular season. He combines the quickness and ball-handling to slash inside with the power to drive the lane, enabling him to score from anywhere. Rammel was also second on the team in assists with 2.6 per contest and blocked a team-high 25 shots.
In the tournament, after a low-scoring victory over Parkway, Rammel tried to will the Indians to victory in the sectional final against Perry, scoring 27 points of 10-of-17 shooting with Fort Recovery's only made three and pulling down 12 rebounds in a 66-54 defeat.
After the season, Rammel earned all-MAC first team and all-district second team honors.
