* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold wind chill will occur late tonight into Sunday morning.

Jeffrey Pontsler
Jeffrey "Jeff" S. Pontsler, age 59, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away on April 3, 2022, at his residence after a short battle with cancer.
He was born August 4, 1962 in Celina. On August 21, 1982 he married Tammy (Freeland) Pontsler and she survives at the residence in Rockford.
Other survivors include his children, Scott Pontsler, Van Wert and Stephen (Shauna) Pontsler, Batavia, Ohio; his mother, Ethel (Mosher) Pontsler, Rockford; a brother, Dave (Charity) Pontsler, Rockford; two sisters, Karen (Clarence) Thomas, Jacksonville, Florida and Jodi (Rich) Lamparelli, Quacker Hill, Connecticut; and four grandchildren, Greyson, Gavin, Paxton and Quinn.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Donald Pontsler; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Marilyn Freeland; and a brother-in-law, Tony Freeland.
Jeff was a 1980 graduate of Parkway High School in Rockford. He worked in sales for RG Communications in Celina. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina. He was a very active person and enjoyed woodworking, painting and many other hobbies. During the pandemic, Jeff enjoyed building and donating over 600 birdhouses for children around the Rockford area.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the Pontsler family.
