Noreen Stienecker
Noreen L. Stienecker's sweet soul left her on Easter Sunday afternoon at 4:22 P.M. at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She had been a lifelong resident of St. Marys and for the last 7 years resided at Otterbein, St. Marys.
She was born at Gibbons Hospital, Celina, on December 26, 1952 to Virgil and Marjorie (Schmehl) Stienecker.
Noreen is survived by her sister Kathy Lawler (Ned), St. Marys, and her nephew Jason Stienecker of Wapakoneta, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marjorie Stienecker and her brother Ronnie L. Stienecker.
Noreen was a 1970 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys and spent her working life at Joint Township Memorial Hospital serving in the laundry and commissary. She was a passionate bird lover and had many parakeets and canaries during her life. She also enjoyed crafts and completed many pieces of art work featuring her favorite color of purple.
Her memorial service will be at the Meyer Community Chapel at Otterbein scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 23, 202 with the Rev. Bill Maki officiating.
Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Noreen will be interned at Elm Grove Cemetery, next to her parents, at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staffs of Joint Township Memorial, Miami Valley, and Lima Memorial Hospitals for their care during her recent illness along with the staff of Otterbein, St. Marys for their years of care for Noreen.
